Creator's Notes
In #FM22, we attempt to create Antonio Conte's tactic by analysing Tottenham's 2021/22 tactics. We have two different tactics. The 3-4-3 and the counter-attack based 5-3-2 used against Liverpool FC. This FM22 tactic proves to be very successful with Spurs currently on top of the EPL 20 games in. In this video, we'll analyse their masterclass tactic and create that in Football Manager 2022.
Since Antonio Conte has arrived, he's deployed the 3-4-3 system at Tottenham Hotspur, which saw Spurs get a 0-0 draw away to Everton, but then won their 3 Premier League games after that draw. Against Leeds United, Brentford and Norwich City. In their most recent game (at the time of writing this), they came up against an in-form Liverpool side which saw Conte switch formation, to a counter-attacking 5-3-2 operating in a mid to low block and which proved to be somewhat successful getting a 2-2 draw.
The #FM22 is NOT plug-n-play, you will need to tweak according to certain match situations (which is why I did not holiday test). You can tweak the attacking width to try and strech play, attack down the flanks to create chances from wide and also counter to try and take more of an initiative
