Callum Hudson-Odoi in FM22

1. Callum Hudson-Odoi

In FM22, Callum Hudson-Odoi tops our selection of the best young English wonder kids. Hudson-Odoi is a fantastic compliment to a clever goalscorer, as he is more of a creative player than a goal prospect. He effortlessly creates space with his 15 pace, 16 acceleration and 15 off the ball, while his 15 dribbling, 15 crossing, and 15 passing make him a significant playmaker.

Callum Hudson-Odoi is a 20-year-old English wonderkid with a five-star Potential Ability who firmly fits in the top tier of FM22's finest English wonderkids.

Despite injuries and intermittent first-team appearances throughout the seasons, Hudson-Odoi has already played 100 games for Chelsea. He had netted 14 goals and assisted on 18 more by his 109th game, despite manager Thomas Tuchel selecting him late.

Jadon Sancho in FM22

2. Jadon Sancho

Jadon Sancho, a well-known talent in recent years, is still one of the top English wonderkids in FM22 at the age of 21.

Sancho's deft feet, whether as an inverted winger or a wide playmaker, are what make him such a powerful winger in the game. He is a strong offensive danger with his 18 agility, 18 dribbling, 18 technique,16 first touch and 17 passing.

Phil Foden in FM22

3. Phil Foden

With his five-star Potential Ability, Phil Foden is one of the finest England Wonderkids, rating better in the greatest young English players in FM22.

Foden's technical ability, is extremely close to becoming world-class. His 17 first touch, 16 passing, 16 dribbling, and 17 technique enable him to glide around the pocket between defense and midfield, delivering pinpoint passes to the attackers or making his way into the box on his own.

The Stockport-born midfielder has already won three Premier League crowns, Community Shields, League Cups and the FA Cup at the age of only 21. This seems to be Foden's breakout season, with five goals and four assists in his first 13 outings.

Reece James in FM22

4. Reece James

Reece James' four-star Current Ability and five-star Potential Ability come together to make him a desirable – if not extremely costly – transfer prospect and one of the game's top young English players.

James is a flexible defensive force that can be deployed as a DC, DR, or WBR. However, it is his offensive abilities that you should attempt to utilize. The English wonderkid begins with 16 crossing attempts, 14 free-kick attempts, 13 passing attempts, 15 acceleration attempts, and 14 speed attempts.

With eight caps for his nation, the wonderkid from London is also a regular starter for Chelsea, the defending Champions League champions. By his 12th appearance of the 2021/22 season, James had scored four goals and provided four assists - just one of which came in the Premier League.

Emile Smith-Rowe in FM22

5. Emile Smith Rowe

Emile Smith Rowe, who possesses extremely high Potential Ability and a respectable Current Ability, completes the segment of showcased players on this list of the greatest English wonderkids in FM22.

The young attacking midfielder is an active creative outlet, capable of being your ideal playmaker but rarely a genuine goal threat. Smith Rowe's 11 finishing ability limits his output in this intelligent area, but his 15 work rate, 15 passing, 15 flair, 15 dribbling and 15 teamwork ensures that he generates plenty of chances for others.

Arsenal's newest top young talent has established himself as a far more dangerous goalscorer than his FM22 attributes suggest. By the time he reached his 58th game, Smith Rowe had scored 12 goals and assisted on nine more.
