A new year means new wonderkids up for grabs to take your squad from the low leagues to the top of the table. We've scoured the internet to put together a list of new (and old) wonderkids we think you should sign in Football Manager 2023.

Youssouffa Moukoko

Youssouffa Moukoko

Youssouffa Moukoko is a 17 year old talented centre-forward who holds the number 18 shirt at Borussia Dortmund. The Cameroon national has already had 5 appearances this current season playing a total of 128 minutes, scoring 1 goal and assisting two more. So far he has collected Top Scorer 5 times since 2017 in the Junioren Bundesliga . Moukoko's potential was rated as 4/5 stars in FM22, we think FM23 may be the year his current ability hits 4 stars, either way he is certainly a good signing to pick up.

Noah Mbamba

Noah Mbamba

Noah Mbamba is a 17-year-old defender from Belgium. He is currently signed to Club Brugge where he's picked up Belgium Champion and Belgium Super Cup winner with his team two times each. Mbamba was a favourite in FM22 for his versatility and relatively affordable price, so it stands to think he would be loved again in FM23.

Gavi (Pablo Páez)

Gavi (Pablo Páez)

Gavi is a Spanish 18-year-old centre-midfielder who also has the capability to play as a left-winger or attacking-midfielder. Gavi's potential in FM22 was rated 4/5 stars, so he's probably already on your shortlist of players you want. The young Spaniard totted up 33 appearances last season, scored 2 goals and assisted with 6. Gavi has huge potential and has even been likened to Barcelona midfielders Xavi and Andrés Iniesta due to his qualities as a footballer.

Endrick Felipe

Endrick Felipe

Endrick Felipe is another prodigy from Brazil. This 16-year-old attacking centre-forward has come up the ranks through Palmeiras. Since joining at the young age of 11, he managed to score an astonishing 165 goals in 169 games for Palmeiras youth teams. This young man should be top of your shortlist for FM23.

Saël Kumbedi

Saël Kumbedi

Saël Kumbedi is a 17-year-old French defender who is one to keep an eye on. Kumbedi had an excellent performance during the UEFA U-17 European Championship this year. He has a fantastic skill set that we think many FM managers will want to utilise. For those not looking to spend big money, you should probably be able to pick him up relatively cheaply at the start of your save.

Paul Wanner

Paul Wanner

Paul Wanner is Bayern München’s youngest-ever debutant. While Wanner might have been a regular face for the senior team for some time now, this will be the first time he has been included in Football Manager. This Austrian attacking midfielder has playmaking skills to make any FM manager crave him. Whilst he is still very young, at the tender age of 16, he has shown great potential and we can't wait to see where this takes him.

Julien Duranville

Julien Duranville

Julien Duranville made his debut for Anderlecht just two weeks after his 16th birthday. Duranville is a quick and dynamic player making him desirable for those wishing to find a cheap player with the potential to grow into something great in the coming years. Duranville will definitely be in our shortlists when searching for a right-winger.

Plamen Andreev

Plamen Andreev

If you're looking for  a wonderkid goalkeeper then look no further than Plamen Andreev. This 17-year-old Bulgarian currently plays for Levski Sofia and has ranked 22nd on CIES report for most promising players born in 2004 - scoring 59.5. This season so far he has made 6 appearances and kept an impressive 4 clean sheets.

Isaac Babadi

Isaac Babadi

Isaac Babadi is a natural talent. This 17-year-old Netherlands teenager plays for PSV U18s. Babadi plays left-wing and has excellent technical abilities and his passing and dribbling skills are not to be passed up lightly. He should be easy enough to obtain if you can get him early on.

Jobe Bellingham

Jobe Bellingham

Following in his brother Jude's footsteps, Jobe is making a name for himself as an inverted winger or attacking midfielder. Bellingham debuted for England's U17s in 2021 and picked up 8 appearances. He currently plays for Birmingham City U18s so hopefully, you'll be able to pick him up at a good price as he hasn't signed a professional contract yet.
