Everything We Know About Football Manager 2023

The new football season has kicked off and with it, news of the latest Football Manager game. For many fans, confirmation of the release date of their yearly awaited game feels like Christmas has come early. The months of speculation about what the newest edition to the FM family will include will finally come to rest over the next few weeks as teasers and content confirmation is released. So what do we know so far?

When will Football Manager 2023 be released?

Sports Interactive has confirmed the release date of Football Manager 2023 to be Tuesday 8th November 2022.  

Will early access be available?

As with previous years, early access will be available for those pre-purchasing from any participating digital retailer before the full release. Early access means eager managers can play the game usually a full two weeks before full release.

What platforms will FM23 be released on?

Football Manager 2023 will be released on the usual platforms of Windows, Mac and Xbox. News has also been released that FM23 will be available on the long awaited PS5 and on iOS and Android. To complete the domination of platforms, Sports Interactive will be making FM23 available to play on Nintendo Switch.

What are the system requirements needed to play FM23?

Windows requirements:

  • 64-bit processor and operating system.
  • OS: Windows 7
  • Processor: Intel Core 2 or AMD Athlon 64 X2.
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM.
  • Graphics: Intel GMA X4500, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT, AMD/ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650.
  • DirectX: Version 11.
  • Storage: 7 GB available space

Mac requirements:

  • macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra.
  • macOS 10.14.6 Mojave.
  • macOS 10.15.5 Catalina.
  • macOS 11.5 Big Sur

What's new?

So far Sports Interactive have kept their cards close to their chest and haven't released an abundance of information regarding new content yet. But, what we do know is that they have acquired exciting new licensing... UEFA! This means we can expect the entry of The Champions League, Europa League, Europa Conference League and The Super Cup.
