It’s official: Endrick has signed for Real Madrid and will join up with his new teammates in 2024. This is a devastating blow for Football Manager players who will no longer be able to sign Endrick in FM23 once the winter transfer update lands in March.

To offset this terrible news, we have put together a list of five wonderkids in Football Manager 2023 who have a similar player profile and asking price to Endrick.

Mohamed-Ali Cho

We kick things off with Momo Cho, a hot prospect who currently plies his trade in La Liga. Mohamed-Ali Cho can play anywhere across the frontline but really excels as a striker. He starts the game with a decent set of attributes that indicate he could adapt to any forward role you have in mind for him.

Momo Cho is available for a cool £25M at the start of FM23 which is slightly more than Endrick, but he has similar potential and he’s available right away. You can see how Momo Cho performs across five seasons by checking out his profile in our Wonderkid Tracker.

Matías Arezo

The next name on our list you may not know as he'll be more familiar to those in Uruguay or avid FM players who like to delve into the depths looking for the next big thing. Matías Arezo might not be as talented as Endrick currently but he has the potential to reach the same heights.

Arezo can be purchased from Granada for a bargain £10M which is slightly lower than the fee Endrick would have been available for, but ultimately, Matías Arezo is going to go on and be well worth the money once he's been developed further.

Check out how Matías Arezo progressed over five years in a Football Manager 2023 simulation.

Henrique Araujo

Next up we have Henrique Araujo, a top young talent who joined Benfica on a free from CS Maritimo back in 2018. Araujo has all the attributes and potential ability to a be a real asset to any squad with ambition and is well worth the £20M outlay.

In our five-season simulation, Araujo went on to score an incredible 69 goals in 81 appearances for Benfica across just three seasons. This guy knows how to score.

Dion Drena Beljo

Dion Drena Beljo is a top talent that will need a little bit more development that some of the other names on this list, but with the added benefit that he can be picked up for a measly £2M at the very start of the game. One for the Football Manager 2023 bargain hunters.

He starts the game at Osijek, a club in the top division in Croatia, and doesn’t move on throughout our five-season simulation despite boasting an incredible goal return. We think with a big move and some proper man management, Dion could be an absolute star.

Garang Kuol

Garang Kuol is a proper hidden gem in Football Manager 2023. Plying his trade for the Central Coast Mariners in Australia, this talented young player can be picked up for just £300k despite his four star potential.

Garang Kuol can be played naturally across the right wing and striker position, and despite only being 22 years old at the end of our five-season simulation, he did get a big move to Newcastle United. We really recommend Garang Kuol as an alternative to Endrick, as he’s a blank canvas who can be developed into a blistering winger or as a pressing forward, and as we said before, he costs only £300k.
